What does a peer review report contain?

Typically a list of records reviewed with dates and providers, a chronological summary, the clinical questions posed, the reviewer's analysis and a clearly stated conclusion. The records-reviewed chronology is where transcription errors do the most damage, because a wrong date or provider name undermines the citation behind the opinion.

What does the workflow look like?

You dictate as you normally would and send the audio through our encrypted upload. A transcriptionist trained on that report family types the first draft, a separate reviewer performs quality assurance against your template, and the finished document comes back ready for your review and signature.

How are dates and record citations checked?

QA reads the chronology as a data set: dates in sequence, provider names spelled consistently across the report, and each cited finding matched to the record the reviewer names. Anything unclear in the audio around a date or name is flagged rather than approximated.

How is file handling secured?

Audio and finished reports are transferred and stored encrypted with an audit trail of every file. Signed NDAs cover the people who handle your dictation, and BAAs are available on request before the first file changes hands. We ask that protected health information is never sent through the public quote form — use the upload instead.
