What makes neurological dictation demanding?

Neurological examinations produce dense, highly abbreviated findings: nerve roots, reflex grades, sensory distributions and laterality, often dictated rapidly. Electrodiagnostic sections add latencies, amplitudes and conduction velocities with units attached. Each of those values has to land in the right place for the impairment discussion to make sense.

How are head injury evaluations handled?

Post-concussive and traumatic brain injury evaluations combine narrative history, cognitive screening results and sometimes psychiatric overlap. Screening scores are typed as dictated, and where a psychiatric component is dictated it is transcribed by the psychiatric track's conventions.

How is file handling secured?

Audio and finished reports are transferred and stored encrypted with an audit trail of every file. Signed NDAs cover the people who handle your dictation, and BAAs are available on request before the first file changes hands. We ask that protected health information is never sent through the public quote form — use the upload instead.
