How does AME transcription differ from IME or QME work?

The document structure is similar, but an AME report answers questions both parties have agreed to submit. Numbered responses to those questions have to stay attached to the right question, and qualifying phrases such as "more likely than not" or "I cannot state within reasonable medical probability" have to survive transcription intact.

Who needs AME transcription?

Examiners who accept AME appointments and need a dependable overnight route from dictation to signature-ready report, and the offices that support them.

What does the workflow look like?

You dictate as you normally would and send the audio through our encrypted upload. A transcriptionist trained on that report family types the first draft, a separate reviewer performs quality assurance against your template, and the finished document comes back ready for your review and signature.

What does QA check on an AME report?

Question-and-answer alignment, negations, impairment and apportionment figures, dates of injury, and the precise wording of opinion statements. Ambiguity in an opinion sentence is flagged, never smoothed over.

How is file handling secured?

Audio and finished reports are transferred and stored encrypted with an audit trail of every file. Signed NDAs cover the people who handle your dictation, and BAAs are available on request before the first file changes hands. We ask that protected health information is never sent through the public quote form — use the upload instead.
