What is included in an IME transcription?

A complete IME report is transcribed end to end: identifying information, history of injury, review of records, subjective complaints, physical examination, diagnostic study review, diagnoses, discussion of causation, apportionment where applicable, work capacity and the examiner's conclusions.

Section headings, numbering and question-and-answer formats follow the template you already use, so the returned document drops straight into your report workflow without reformatting.

Who needs IME transcription?

Examiners who dictate faster than they can type, practices where reports queue behind clinical work, and management companies whose turnaround commitments depend on a predictable overnight pipeline.

What does the workflow look like?

You dictate as you normally would and send the audio through our encrypted upload. A transcriptionist trained on that report family types the first draft, a separate reviewer performs quality assurance against your template, and the finished document comes back ready for your review and signature.

How is quality assurance handled?

Every report passes a second review before delivery. QA focuses on the places where an error changes meaning: negations, numbers, dates, measurements, medication names and doses, and the causation, apportionment and restriction language a claim turns on. Where the audio is genuinely ambiguous in one of those areas, the passage is flagged for your review rather than filled in with a best guess.

How is file handling secured?

Audio and finished reports are transferred and stored encrypted with an audit trail of every file. Signed NDAs cover the people who handle your dictation, and BAAs are available on request before the first file changes hands. We ask that protected health information is never sent through the public quote form — use the upload instead.

Which states do you support?

California, Ohio, Florida and New York, with files routed by the jurisdiction of the evaluation so an examiner licensed in more than one state still receives state-correct reports. See our state coverage for the forms and terminology specific to each system.
